Things I'm Lovin......

- Laughing.....it just feels so good!
- My Daughters independent yet responsible way. Off on her own little vacation.
- Having my parents here. Seriously I just feel better when they are here to hug whenever I want.
-Dexter - I'm so hooked! We just started season 3! I don't want to wait all the way to September for season 4.
- Technology. I should have been a generation Y'er. I love computers, Blackberry's, IPod's. Information at your finger tips!
- My built in Bestest Friends. Having sisters is just an unbelievable safety net that I always know will catch me. That gives me so much peace. Not to mention they make me Laugh like a fool!
- a weekend getaway with Marce! 3 Blissful days of just us!
- Justin giving Mattias guitar lessons.......aahhh.
- Blogs......I read my favs everyday! There are so many interesting and crazy talented women out there!
- I love when I get in the car after Justin drives it and the radio is blaring with Count Basie or some other Jazz legend
- how Mattias corrects my spelling and grammar on the texts we send to each other...excuse me, your 9!
- My friend (and cousin) Monica coming for a visit!!!! And her family of course:)
- and most of all, that My bestest, bestest friend, partner, husband, etc. is always by my side!

Hello Summer!

Our summer has started in a crazy, busy way! First Marce has graduated from UOP with his BS in Accounting! We are very excited for him! On the way to the graduation we were talking about how nice it will be when he will have more time and how easy life will be.....on the way home from the graduation the conversation changed to how he IS continuing to get his Masters and there will be no break! I told him go for it! Behind ya all the way:)

After the graduation we went to Alice's for the graduation party. Yummy food and family and great entertainment!

Father's day was shared with my moms birthday and was lots of fun! We got Marce a camera for father's day so I'm excited to see what fun pictures he comes up with!

A hiking we will go......

And we did! Donavin hiked the whole way. Always on the look out for a new rock to hold in each of his little hands. I could not believe how far his short little legs could go! He is so adorable!!!!

Sunday morning we took our daughter to the airport and sent her to SoCal for her own vacation. I made the decision to have her change planes in San Fran so that she can have the experience of traveling on her own. She was a little nervous but she did great! She called me from San Fran and said she got there and found her new gate and found a coffee shop and she was all good. I got off the phone with her and told Marce,"Our daughter is in San Fransisco having a coffee all by herself" It was a weird feeling but a good weird. She is growing up. Since then we have spoke everyday and she is having a great time, really enjoying the sun, pool and her cousins! Her and Lani are taking the train down to the twins and they are spending a couple of days at the beach. The Fantastic Four together at the beach in SoCal...watch out!

Justin is getting his band together for some coming up gigs and is busy practicing and taking care of Mattias. His band is playing at Tour De Terrace and may even be in the parade so if your local come on out its July 26th More info to follow soon. Mattias is fully enjoying the beginning of summer he is sleeping in and going to the park and a movie today. We have family coming next week and the big annual 4th of July bash at Debbie and Bills! But before that Marce and I are going away this weekend (all alone:) and I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's bitter sweet......

On one hand I am so very excited for Justin to be graduating from High School and on the other hand I'm sad to see him leave his childhood behind him. On one hand I'm can't wait for him to experience the world and grow as a person into the man he is going to be but on the other hand he is my baby boy and I'm not ready to let go. All I can say for sure is this....I am honored to be my kids mom, they have a been a joy and a heartache. I have had the best time of my life with them and the scariest times. I have been proud and worried myself sick. I have been through more ups and downs than I thought I would and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

We went downtown Seattle to the Tripple Door to watch Justin's last high school Jazz concert. They were amazing of course and we screamed like fools for Justin!
