Isla Del Encanto

First.....Justin's concert was amazing! They played to a sold out crowd and got 2 standing ovations! He did great and I was so happy for him to have that opportunity. We left the concert and went straight to the airport. After 2 long airplane rides we arrived in Puerto Rico. I am so happy to learn what great travelers my children are. We did a lot of traveling after arriving we traveled some more to catch a ferry to Vieques. We got there late but we were very excited to be here so we walked down to the little town by the water. The next day we went to the most beautiful beach and snorkeled in the ocean. It was everything we were hoping Puerto Rico would be and much more. My family is wonderful and it feels like home. That night we went to the bio luminescent bay. That was quite an adventure, I am too tired to write it down tonight and this connection is so slow that I'm falling asleep waiting for my pictures to upload and they wont! So I am going to bed and see what I can do in the morning after a good night sleep:)

Vamanos Muchachos....

It's a good thing that we didn't plan this trip too far in advance because the anticipation is a killer! We are packed and so very excited! Ready for a break....ready for a little different climate...ready to see some family.....ready to take a look in my parents past....ready to have some seriously fun times....ready to show my kids that there is a huge world out there to explore...and ready to capture our memories. So here's to hoping for a safe trip and to be able to sleep on the plane! My plan is to blog a little every night to record our adventure. God willing, we will be in Puerto Rico at 11:30am Saturday morning and ready to start our journey. First we have to get through work, school, our colds that will not go away:(, packing up our cars, Justin's Big concert at the Paramount in Seattle, coordinating and meeting Nanci and Sam at the airport to get Marisa and Mattias, checking bags, going through security and rushing to the gate....no problem.....all part of the journey to La Isla Del Encanto.......ahhh...life is good!

My life in numbers....Today

I have been sick for ELEVEN days!
In SIXTEEN days I will be on vacation with my family in Puerto Rico!
I have FOUR tickets to see No Doubt and Paramore!!! I WILL be singing at the top of my lungs:)
My TWO Sisters make me so happy!
I have ONE, EIGHTEEN year old son, ONE, FOURTEEN year old daughter and ONE,NINE year old son.
We have TWO dogs that follow me all over the house.
TWENTY FOUR hours is almost never enough time for all that I have and want to do in a day.
After SIXTEEN years my husband is still my bestest friend.

Can you tell that I am so ready for spring? We have had some sun shine the last couple of days and I'm loving it. I am also very thankful to Marce for hooking me up with the new look. He is so cool, you know that I change my mind a thousand times and everytime I say, how about this or I would rather have that....he just gives me whatever I want.....too cool. I have been sick this week and I am just now starting to feel a little better, although I spent most of the evening in bed. Marisa is FINALLY(just kidding Mis) finishing Breaking Dawn, so I have enjoyed her thoughts on it. Mattias talked me and Marce into ordering a propellor hat...don't ask. Justin came home from his trip a little sad. They had great success for Dynamics (choir) but was disqualifed for Jazz because both of the drummers were sick. What a bummer, all that work to be disqualifed. But more than that he realized that he is coming to the end of his senior year. Sad. We have been making arrangements for Puerto Rico and we are getting very excited. My family really needs this vacation!
