Happy to be home!!

Yeah! I'm home!! I went to California for a work trip....Focus on the Future. Learned a lot and met a lot of people. It was a good trip. The best part was that it was in Orange. My Mom and Dad picked me up from the hotel and took me to Titi Carmens. It was wonderful to be with my family in California. Of course just being with my Mom and Dad was the best.

However, I'm home and very happy to be HOME!!! Marce is in Dallas and things will be complete when he comes home.

Its all about being .......ah heck, I don't know!!!!

I get organized and I fall behind..... I get organized and I fall behind.......over and over again:( UGH! So many stupid bills, so little time or desire to work on them! I try to organize and before I know it I'm falling behind again. I always say I'm going to stay on top of it and then I don't. So here I go again organizing myself and here's to hoping:)





On another note, I worked today until 2pm picked up Marisa and Ashley and rocked out all the way home and then we picked up Mattias and Dropped off Ashley. Met Lisa's sister(i liked her alot) and then dropped Mattias off with Marce to go get haircuts(handsome devils) Which left me and my Daughter alone (lovely) We went to Target, dry cleaner and Famous Foot wear (BOOTS:). I just love being with this girl. She makes me smile from the inside out!!!! Picked up Justin from Practice and he had a great practice and is rocking the guitar!!! So proud or that boy. And a little jealous......well, he's very talented. Dang...where did he get all that from?

Can you believe this is my sister's house? Is this just beautiful or what? This picture is last winter but I just love it. It makes me feel all cozy thinking about being at her house, eating scones by the fire and enjoying her company. I miss her I haven't seen her enough lately. can't wait til Christmas and I get to hang with my Sista's.

Anyways Today was a good Day!!!! This is a good life. I am so very lucky!!!!

Heartbroken

I worked last summer with a very sweet girl named Ashley. She was a student at BYU and worked at Lasting Memories while she was home on breaks. I really like working with her. She gave me a great cookie recipe that I will always keep and think of her when I make them. A couple of days ago she was driving with 3 other girls when their car hit a deer. Ashley was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car. The car flipped and landed on top of her. She died instantly. Ashley was 22. Too young to die. She and her family have been heavy on my mind and my heart just aches for them. I look at my children and my family and feel a feeling of relief that our lives have not been devastated like that. Thankful that we have each other and that we are all here and healthy. May God be with Ashley and her family. And may we stay happy, healthy and together.

I love getting up before the rest of the house. Its quiet and peaceful...I can collect my thoughts for the day. Watching the news, checking my emails, my favorite sites, cup of coffee. Its nice. Today is Wednesday....School, work, swimming lessons, the usual. Kim is starting at my office today, I'm very happy about that. I may have to work late tonight to get caught up on work so that I don't have a long weekend. I left yesterday at 12:00pm that really cuts into my week. But I had a Dr. apt. and I am one year Cancer Free. Gotta love that!!! I'm grateful and happy. Had a nice dinner with the family last night, Marce is finally home from Dallas(work stuff). It was a nice night!

My Favorite season of all!!! My friend Lisa sent me this picture and it made me so happy. I can't wait for pumpkins and leaves all over the ground. Growing up in Cali there wasn't much change in the season, that is one of the reasons I love love love the Pacific Northwest. I know this is my second post of the day but I never knew how easy it is to Blog!! I'm all proud of my technical savvy self:)

My dear dear friend Kim inspired me!!!! And now I'm blogging. Thanks Kim. Hopefully this will force me to journal..we'll see. Watching House with the kids...love to hate him! And cutie boy Chase is back!!!

Justins whole cross country team is coming over for team dinner tomorrow:{ around 30 teenagers. My mother-in-law came over and whipped up a huge batch of rice and beans and enchilada casserole yummy, yummy. Lets see how exhausted I am tomorrow.

Going to scrap the weekend away! Can't freaking wait!
